PowerCell is a leading industrial company specializing in hydrogen fuel cell technology and electrification solutions for demanding applications. With deep expertise in proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell systems, PowerCell develops high-efficiency, zero-emission power solutions for mobility, marine, aerospace, and stationary energy sectors. The company combines advanced research, system integration capabilities, and scalable manufacturing to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy systems. In EU-funded projects, PowerCell contributes with cutting-edge fuel cell stack development, system optimization, and validation in real-world use cases, supporting innovation, decarbonization, and the deployment of reliable hydrogen-based energy solutions across Europe.
In this project, PowerCell will deliver a low-temperature fuel cell system in the 100 kW range, to be integrated with an electrolyser and metal hydride hydrogen storage to enable efficient, flexible, and safe hydrogen-based energy solutions. PowerCell contributes with expertise in system design, integration, and validation, supporting scalable, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions aligned with European decarbonisation goals.
