Environment Park (ENVI)

Environment Park (ENVI) is Turin’s Science and Technology Park dedicated to the environment. ENVI promotes sustainable innovation and supports companies who want to invest in clean technologies, providing expert technical advice in: advanced energy systems, energy efficiency and green construction, green chemistry, and technology transfer for clean industrial solutions.

Within its spaces, ENVI manages a 500sqm large laboratory dedicated to hydrogen R&D, developed in conjunction with Politecnico di Torino and Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. The laboratory infrastructure can accommodate around 12 test benches equipped with different gas lines (hydrogen, methane, nitrogen etc) and advanced safety systems.  ENVI can also work on fermentation tests and anaerobic digestion of biomass for the production of biohydrogen and biomethane. ENVI labs are open to companies requiring support in the development of innovative products and processes. ENVI is therefore the reference point for the local hydrogen ecosystem, working also with local authorities, research organisations, enterprises and the civil society. ENVI is also the manager of cluster CLEVER, the innovation cluster on clean technologies (120 associates).

ENVI contribute within H2SCORE project

Envipark is in charge of the Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation work packages, curating also the projects’ visual identity, website and social media presence.

Furthermore, Envipark will demonstrate a fuel cell-based portable genset in events in Quarona, to further prove how hydrogen can support the local communities. Finally, Envipark will cooperate on the analysis and structuring of the regulatory framework of hydrogen in Renewable Energy Communities.
