Engreen

Engreen is an Italian engineering company dedicated to accelerating the energy transition through practical, scalable solutions. With its “Sustainability as a Service” approach, Engreen supports public authorities, renewable energy communities, businesses, and international partners from early strategy and feasibility work through implementation, commissioning, and ongoing operational management. The company designs and delivers renewable energy systems, supports the creation and governance of renewable energy communities, and contributes to innovation and to EU-funded programmes that test new technologies under real-world conditions. Engreen brings together engineering capability, regulatory know-how, financial and business-model insight, and strong stakeholder engagement, helping align technical choices with local needs and permitting requirements. With experience in more than 16 EU-funded projects, Engreen helps turn innovation into resilient, community-oriented energy models that improve local energy independence, increase system flexibility, and support long-term sustainability.

ENGREEN contribute within H2SCORE project

ENGREEN coordinates the H2SCORE demonstration site in Quarona (Italy), translating the project’s solutions into real, on-the-ground operations. ENGREEN works closely with technology partners and, in parallel, with local institutions, technicians, businesses and residents to ensure activities are practical, safe and clearly communicated. Its role includes supporting permitting and safety requirements, facilitating the installation and start-up of the systems, and monitoring their performance throughout the demonstration campaign. ENGREEN also engages the local community and stakeholders, collects feedback, and uses it to support a co-design and consultation process before and during the campaign. Finally, ENGREEN analyses the results to assess whether the hydrogen-ready renewable energy community model can be replicated across other Italian communities.
